    Description :

    Protection :

    • FFP1 provides 80% efficiency filter against oil free solid and liquid particulate aerosols.
    • FFP2 provides 94% efficiency filter against oil free solid and liquid particulate aerosols.
    • FFP3 provides 99.95% efficiency filter against oil free solid and liquid particulate aerosols.
    • Do not exceed the maximum contaminant concentrations established by regulatory standards (OEL)
    • Ensure a proper sealed fit before entering a contaminated environment.
    • Time-in-use restrictions may apply.
    • If in doubt please contact your Health + Safety Supervisor.
    • Discard and use a fresh Respirator after every shift.

    Instructions for use :

    1. Before Occupational use, the wearer MUST be trained by the Employer in the safe and correct use of this Respirator in accordance with applicable safety and health standards.
    2. Failure to use a Respirator during the entire exposure to the contaminant and to follow all instructions including limitations concerning the use of this Respirator can be injurious to health and even lead to illness or death.
    3. Immediately leave the area if dizziness, nausea, irritation or any similar distress occurs.
    4. Ensure compliance with the Industrial Safety principles for occupational medicine precaution tests G26 or other National Occupational Safety & health Rules including use of Breath Protection Apparatus (BGR 190 / ZH1 / 701)
    5. Discard and replace the Respirator with a new one after every shift and if: a. The Respirator pores gets clogged leading to difficulty in inhaling b. The Respirator gets soiled, wet or damaged.

    Precautions :

    This Respirator is NOT intended to provide protection for entry or stay in a contaminated area other than oil free particulate aerosols. Examples where it must NOT be used:

    1. Ensure that the Respirator you are about to use is designed for protection in the environment you are about to enter. Do NOT use in non-ventilated confined spaces, canals, sewers, mines or when explosive gases are present.
    2. Do NOT modify or misuse the Respirator.
    3. Do NOT use the Respirator with facial hair or other obstructions that interfere with a direct contact between the Respirator sealing edge and the face skin.
    4. From hygienic point of view, this Respirator is NOT recommended to be shared.
    5. NOT for Protection against hazardous concentrations of Gases or Oily Vapors.
    6. NOT for Protection against Carcinogenic and Radio Active substances, Enzymes or Viruses.
    7. NOT if the Oxygen content of the environment is below 19.5%.
    8. NOT during Spray Painting, Sand Blasting, Asbestos removal, Fiberglass Insulation application or removal or similar occupational environments.
    9. NOT if you smell or taste a contaminant
    10. NOT if the nature of the contaminant is not known or known to be immediately dangerous to health or life.
    11. NOT if the concentration of the contaminant exceeds the maximum concentration in applicable OSHA Standards or applicable Government Regulations or 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL), whichever is LOWER.

    Storage :

    • Individually wrapped filters are packed in inner boxes and cartons for transport to protect from damage due to shock or climatic hazards. They should remain in their packs till removal for immediate use to retain their sanitation.

    Shelf Life :

    • Normally 60 months from manufacture when properly stored in humidity under 80% and -5°C to +50°C.

    Dispose :

    • After use in accordance with local legislation or companies waste management.

    Warning :

    • This Respirator is designed to protect against certain Oil Free contaminants and OEL Levels. It may not eliminate the risk of contracting an infection or disease. Wrong use or misuse may result in sickness or death.
    • Not to be exposed to naked flame or extreme source of heat.
    • If you cannot achieve a satisfactory sealed fit do not enter the contaminated area.
    • See your supervisor for other options.
