MARTINDALE – FRESH AIR SYSTEM

Description :

• The Martindale Fresh Air System is a simple respiratory protective system for use in “Confined spaces”.
• The simplicity of the system allows safe operations in potentially oxygen deficient hazardous areas.
• Breathing Air from an external uncontaminated source is supplied through a hose by an electrically operated turbine pump.

Features :

• The system is versatile, rugged, and light weight and is very easily deployed
• The system is fully contained in its own heavy duty plastic storage case which allows easy transport and prevents damage when the system is not in use
• The unpowered system is supplied with a 9 metre hose but can also be used with a 10 or 20 metre hose
• The system does not use or require any form of filter (except in the turbine)
• The use of a soft Silicone Full Mask ensures the comfort of the user
• Full Face Mask has plastic rather than metal head harness clips for improved corrosion resistance
• The Mini Turbine is of a rugged steel construction which is IP54 rated. (The Turbine is not Intrinsically Safe, so should not be used in a potentially explosive atmosphere)
• The Mini Turbine is capable of supplying two people up to 40 metres away
• The Mini Turbine air reduces fatigue and gives added comfort for extended use.
• Conforms to EN 138 Class 2; Mask – EN 136
